2. Key Usage Guidelines

(1) Logic-Level Drive Compatibility

Operates efficiently at VGS = 4.5 V (typical for 5V logic), with RDS(ON) ≤ 35 mΩ.

For lowest conduction loss, drive with VGS = 10 V.

(2) Thermal Management & PCB Layout

Solder the exposed thermal pad to a copper pour (≥1.5 cm²) with multiple thermal vias.

Derate current above 15 A continuous; ensure TJ ≤ 150°C.

(3) High-Speed Switching & Low EMI

Ultra-low Qg (<9 nC) enables 100–500 kHz operation.

Use RG = 10–30 Ω to damp ringing and reduce EMI.

(4) Body Diode for Freewheeling

Supports 25 A continuous reverse current; VSD ≤ 1 V reduces freewheeling loss.

(5) Safe Operating Area (SOA)
