HeroMicro Unveils AO4828 Dual N-Channel MOSFET

Recently, HeroMicro officially launched a high-performance dual N-channel power MOSFET device — the AO4828. This product is based on advanced trench process technology and high-density cell design, achieving significant optimization in on-resistance, switching loss, and thermal management. It is suitable for a wide range of power management and power conversion applications.

The AO4828 demonstrates excellent electrical performance. It offers a drain-source voltage (VDS) of up to 60V, a maximum drain current (ID) of 4.5A, and an on-resistance (RDS(on)) of less than 36 milliohms at a gate-source voltage (VGS) of 10V. This low RDS(on) characteristic helps reduce system power consumption under high-current operating conditions, thereby improving overall energy efficiency. In addition, the device features low gate charge, which effectively shortens switching time and reduces switching losses, making it ideal for high-frequency applications.

Notably, AO4828 incorporates advanced high-cell-density trench technology, further lowering RDS(on) and achieving ultra-low conduction loss. This significantly enhances the reliability and stability of the device. Moreover, the AO4828 is available in a "Green Device" version that complies with RoHS environmental standards, meeting the growing market demand for eco-friendly materials.

In terms of packaging, AO4828 is equipped with a thermally efficient package structure that ensures stable temperature control even under high-power operation. This enhanced thermal management capability improves the device's adaptability in complex environments, enabling excellent performance across various applications such as industrial control, motor drivers, battery management systems (BMS), DC-DC converters, and load switches.
